About the Dog Behavior Survey

The Dog Behavior Survey is a modified version of the Canine Behavioral Assessment & Research Questionnaire (C-BARQ), a standardized behavioral evaluation tool that was developed and validated by Yuying Hsu and James Serpell in 2003. This survey collects data on behavioral traits such as excitability, aggression, fear, affection, and trainability.
